A Little Something of What Prem Rawat Awakens in a Human Being
As experienced at a recent 5-day gathering with him in Australia
In most intimate relationships, there are some memorable moments that embody the essence of what that special connection is really all about.
For lovers, for example, it might be the way they hold hands on a Sunday afternoon and stroll through the park, not a care in the world.
For a parent and small child, it might be the sweet anticipation of the next bedtime story.
For a member of an orchestra, perhaps it’s the way the conductor raises his baton just before the symphony begins.
When it comes to my relationship with Prem Rawat, my extraordinary teacher and friend for the past 53 years, one of these iconic moments takes place just before he takes the stage at one of his events.
I am in my seat, but he is not yet in his.
And though his seat, center stage, is empty, my heart is full and getting fuller by the moment (if that is even possible), awaiting the time when he walks out from behind the curtain and signals to the audience— all of us now standing and applauding – to take our seats once again.
