What follows is the second in a series of interviews of relatively unknown artists, musicians, and writers whose work inspires me — people who deserve to be way better known than they currently are.

Today’s interview is with Stuart Hoffman, someone whose music I’ve been listening to, with great delight, for 40 years.

It has always baffled me why Stuart isn’t a household name. Then again, Vincent Van Gogh sold only one painting in his entire life — and to his own brother, at that.

Great to catch up with you, Stuart. What have you been up to these days?

In September, I released my Essential Collection which includes my most beloved songs from the past two decades. The opening track, “Silent Heroes” was a first-time release that I am very excited about — an anthem I produced to support the inspired environmental work of the WAFA.
