More Words of Wisdom from Prem Rawat
The second in a series of what he’s said as remembered by others
In 1971, when I was 23, I heard about a young teacher from India (known then as Guru Maharaji and now as Prem Rawat).
Curious about what this young boy had to say (he was just 13 at the time), I began reading his talks and was astounded by two things — the depth of his wisdom and the feeling behind his words.
Not only was he talking about the eternal verities of life in a very powerful way, he was also showing people how they could experience the essence of it for themselves.
And so, I took him up on his word and “received Knowledge,” — his way of describing the experience of turning within and “knowing thyself.”]
I am now 76 — happy, grateful, and very much enjoying my life.
During the years since I first heard about Prem Rawat, I have listened to him many times and read many of his talks. But not just me. There are hundreds of thousands of people around the world who also find great value in what he has to say.
