Prem Rawat in His Own Words
All about life, love, peace, & experiencing our own true nature
This morning I stumbled on a very interesting factoid, according to the latest actuarial tables.
The life span of the average Caucasian American male is 76.31.
As of today, I am 76.73 which puts me just slightly over my expiration date. Yes, time is passing — not only for me, for you, too — no matter what your age or plans for the future.
None of knows how much time we have left.
The question to ask ourselves as the clock keeps ticking? What do we truly want to experience with the time we have left?
I’m not talking about what we do with the time we have left. I’m talking about the quality of our experience, independent of our roles, responsibilities, and the ever-changing details of our lives – what makes us truly homo sapiens, the ones who know.
This is not a new question. It has been asked since the beginning of time. Countless books have been written about it. Countless wise ones have spoken about it. Countless spiritual practices have been invented and practiced towards this end.
