If you are a writer, know a writer, or have ever eaten cheese, here are three statistics I invite you to remember as you read the rest of this rather unusual article:
- For every 100 people who begin writing a book, only 3 complete it.
- The average book of poetry sells just 100 copies.
- The life span of the average American male is 76.71. (I am 76.58).
Which is why you probably won’t be surprised to learn that I decided to consult with ChatGBT to help me figure out how to get the word out about my recently published book of poetry.
With almost no marketing budget, no big-time publisher behind me, and the clock ticking, I figured I needed some intelligence way beyond my own to spread the word.
